  Kim Victoria Cattrall, born 21 August 1956 is a Canadian actress from British Columbia. Her character as Samantha Jones in HBO's Sex and the City (1998-04) is her most well-known. She earned five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominees. In 2002, she received the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress.
